Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completion of one (1) year of service in their present position, with the following exception: an Associate who has received a written warning is not eligible for a transfer/promotion prior to six (6) months from date of issuance; an Associate who has been suspended is not eligible for transfer/promotion prior to one (1) year from date of suspension. Part-time Associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department provided such movement will not unreasonably reduce the operational efficiency of that department. Probationary period is three (3) months for full-time employees, and four (4) months for part-time employees who works more than 3/5 of the normal workweek.
Reporting to Site leadership and Clinical leadership the incumbent will provide a variety of clinical and clerical services in a physician office setting. He/She receives patients at clinic reception area, obtains vitals, documents in EMR, and assists in patient care needs within scope of their certification . He/she will perform general clerical duties and facilitate the day-to-day patient flow for Women's Health.
Please note: This position may travel to the other Women's Health OB/GYN locations within NYC and Westchester areas (Eastchester, Scarsdale, Bronx East, Grand Concourse, Hartsdale, Wakefield, Queens, Rockland County, Monroe, Weiler and Moses campuses) as needed. Weekend work required based on clinic hours. Weekend work may be required if covering a clinic that opens on weekends.

Responsibilities include:
• Perform HLD and sterilization.
• Perform a variety of clinical and clerical services in an Outpatient OB/GYN physician practice
• Perform related work as required.
Education/Skills required:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of state-approved nursing assistant certificate program or 2 years' experience as a direct care provider in a related setting or a combination of education and experience acceptable to the Director of Nursing.
• Certificate of successfully completing a Patient Care Technician program with presentation of competency based orientation. Training must include phlebotomy and 12 Lead ECG.
