To provide patient care under the supervision of RN in the ambulatory surgery setting.Assist with patient ADL’s and daily careCommunicates and supports with healthcare team and patients’ family and/or significant othersMaintains and demonstrates high standards of ethicsPerforms technical duties as directed by RN ex: Vital signs, POC testing, EKG, Foley cath care documents appropriately Attends staff meetingsAssist in admissions, transfers and discharges from UnitsHandling of clerical, environmental, and organizational tasksMaintains work knowledge and regulatory standardsExcellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skillsPerformance of excellent customer service skills
Experience Required
Electrocardiogram (EKG), vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection experience preferredElectronic health record experience preferred.Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills.Outstanding patient experience skills.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
