Summary

JOB SUMMARY: In collaboration with the administrative leader of the service line, the Operations Administrator implements key components of operations for the department. This includes the direction of key strategic objectives related to access, throughput, work flow efficiency, patient experience and key compliance initiatives. Responsible for managing all departmental day to day activities and associated administrative and clinical tasks to promote effective and efficient operations. In collaboration with the Administrative Leader and Managers, this position oversees all business functions including, but not limited to: patient access, scheduling, revenue cycle operations, performance monitoring and reporting. This position is responsible for all accounts receivable and payable functions. Efforts support the delivery of the highest quality, most efficient and cost effective patient care possible in compliance with hospital policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service within the Department. When assigned, serves as the acting administrative leader in the absence of the Administrative Leader.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred Seven plus years of experience Will support offices at Sina Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital and community practices around central Maryland
