Ambulatory Operations and Capacity Support Manager Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $31.58 - $47.38 an hour - Full Time, Days. 40 hours week.
Boulder Community Health is seeking an Ambulatory Operations and Capacity Support Manager responsible for the management, training, and education of providers and staff regarding the proper use of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), ambulatory information and electronic systems and industry standard best practice clinical workflows.

Qualifications •Bachelor’s Degree preferred, preferably in a healthcare, business and/or education related field. •Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Patient Care Assistant (PCA), Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent certification preferred. •Valid Colorado driver’s license required. •BLS certification required within the 90-day conditional period. •Experience with clinical assessment, planning, protocol development, standards, policies and procedures preferred. •Experience training others on an EMR preferred. •Five years of experience in EMR management or implementation experience or related hands-on experience required. •Five years of EMR implementation and training experience in an ambulatory facility required. •Five years of experience utilizing an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) required. •Five years of managerial or supervisory experience required. •Five years of clinical experience preferred.
Responsibilities •Assists in developing short-term and long-term plans, organizational policies and procedures, and ensures compliance. •Recommends training for personnel when necessary and ensures completion of such. •Participates in professional development activities to keep current with trends and practices in health care administration. •Conducts detailed clinical analysis and provides recommendations to improve patient care, including changes or additions to Departmental policies and procedures and clinical workflows. •In collaboration with the clinic leadership, ensures compliance with section 504 of the American of Disabilities Act for the Ambulatory Services Department. •Collaborates with other members of the ambulatory leadership team to ensure clinical compliance in all aspects of clinical operations to include TJC compliance, HIPAA and all federal, state and local regulations, BCH and Departmental standards, PCMH standards, life safety, utilities management, hazardous materials communication, emergency preparedness, infection control, and medical equipment failure. •Works collaboratively with Providers, Managers, Administrators, Medical Directors, and staff to maintain continuity of scheduling and desired outcomes for utilization management. •Promotes the development, implementation and sustainability of a system-wide standardized processes to deliver high quality care while maintaining program and regulatory compliance. •Thinks critically to improve performance on appointment lag, appointment utilization, and completed visits while completing Master, Template, Daily, and Guided Schedule build. •Assesses overall scope of scheduling requests and deliverables to identify system impacts and estimates for level of effort.
