Ambulatory Pharmacy Compliance Manager - Remote

Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Remote Ambulatory Pharmacy Compliance Manager - Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team!

Partner with Associate Vice President, Specialty Pharmacy & PBM Strategy to develop compliance strategy and provide ongoing oversight and monitoring to minimize risk for the health system.Coordinate with Associate Vice President, Specialty Pharmacy & PBM Strategy and legal counsel to identify, monitor, analyze, and communicate regulatory changes.Suggest and support implementation of appropriate business operations in response to regulatory changes related to pharmacy practice, clinic, specialty, and mail order operations.Coordinate compliance roadmap development with direct reports.Research compliance issues and recommend changes to ensure compliance with contract obligations and regulatory standards.Track data and create reports to assist in the analysis of compliance patterns.Lead collaboration with legal counsel and pharmacy leadership to draft and update system community, central pharmacy, and specialty pharmacy policies and standard operating procedures.Provide guidance and supervision for direct reports to support execution of strategy.Build relationships with pharmacy teams and business partners to lead a culture of compliance.Create and deliver education related to pharmacy practice, community, clinic, specialty, and mail order operations compliance.Oversee and document onsite audits and investigations to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.Assist with coordination of corrective action plans to support identified risk areas and suggest procedural changes where applicable.Upholds standards of pharmacy services with the overall vision of the organization.Provides leadership on committees including but not limited to Pharmacy Credentialing & Privileging Committee, Specialty Pharmacy Patient Management Committee, Specialty Pharmacy Quality Management Committee, and Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation Workgroup.Provides oversight, direction, and development for direct reports in line with Baptist Health’s core values.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license in good standing. Indiana Board of Pharmacy license or willing and eligible to achieve within 12 months of hire.1-3 years related experience in pharmacy compliance or risk management.Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.Experience designing, developing, and implementing compliance programs preferred. Experience with specialty pharmacy accreditation standards preferred.
