AMBULATORY PHARMACY TECH
SUMMARY
As an Ambulatory Pharmacy Tech, you would be a key contributor to ensuring medication compliance.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be licensed Pharmacy Tech with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy or Oregon Board of Pharmacy, based on the state worked.
National Certification (CPhT, ExCPT or equivalent) preferred with under 3 years’ experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Assists the pharmacist in various material resource management, dispensing, clerical, and billing duties.
Ensures the accuracy of documenting
Participates in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement activities.
Understands the limitations to performing certain responsibilities of a registered technician in dispensing medications and remains within the scope of practice.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to create and foster a cooperative teamwork environment.
