AME Test Engineer
**Job Description Summary** Responsible for designing and developing advanced technology solutions and systems that contribute to manufacturing process standardization and new product development. This includes activities related to Test/Process Automation/AI systems development, upgrades, and maintenance. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. tex **Job Description** Responsibilities include but not limited to: + Execute test/automation/mechanical system and solution design, qualification, and data acquisition for product and service validation. + Design and construct test/process automation/AI/mechanical facilities, instrumentation systems, and develop test/process automation/AI-data science software. + Develop new solutions under guidance or in a team setting, based on organizational precedents. + Collaborate with business partners to specify needs, communicate project approaches, and present outcomes. + Work on cross-functional teams and lead test data analytical and brilliant factory activities using proven technologies and methods. + Define DFT and end-to-end test/process automation/data collection-analysis-decision making strategies for production testing processes. + Lead troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts. Required Qualifications: + B.S. Degree in Engineering, specifically mechanical engineering or electromechanics, with 5 years of industrial experience in mass production test/automation equipment design and hardware development. + Demonstrated experience with tester/automation development and equipment specification. + Strong project management skills. **Desired Characteristics** + M.S. in a technical field. + Demonstrated electro-mechanical design skills. + Experience in robotic system design. + Experience in data-based process optimization. + Experience with Unix/Linux systems. + Experience in data science, image processing, and machine learning. + Experience with Ethernet, CAN bus, Modbus, DDS protocols. + Basic electronic, DFT, and automation solution design skills. + Experience working with global teams. + Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. + Experience developing tools, templates, and writing standards. + Experience developing new work practices and driving change. + Highly self-motivated and willing to travel domestically and internationally. + Exposure to and use of Lean Methodologies, six sigma techniques for capability analysis, trending/control, and MSA/GRR. + Knowledge of healthcare products and production process + Solid knowledge of GMP and GEHC QMS procedures. **Inclusion and Diversity** GE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
