Job Description: Americas Billing Sr. Analyst – Costa Rica Collaborate with Innovative 3Mers Around the World As an Americas Billing Sr Analyst, you will play a key role for Billing and Invoicing area, within the Americas, servicing both LATAM and USAC. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing controls and processes related to billing functions. This role will interact regularly with accounting, finance, IT and operations stakeholders to transform and build process controls. In addition, this role will be the senior reviewer guiding the accurate, timely and efficient Billing process in collaboration with all stakeholders involved The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an Americas Billing & Invoicing Sr Analyst , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: + Leads billing projects and the administration of Billing & Invoicing vendors, ensuring operational continuity, compliance with customer or tax requirements, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. + Implements billing controls and processes, including SOX controls, regular reviews, and automation of metrics, to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant billing and invoicing. + Determines and corrects billing errors, manages invoice processing cycle times, and optimizes processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. + Supports the development of strong stakeholder relationships to build effective process controls and acts as a backup for Billing & Invoicing LATAM to ensure seamless operations. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: + Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) + Five (5) years of experience within a billing and invoicing role or related field in a private, public, government or military environment + English level: C2 or higher Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: + Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration or related field (completed and verified prior to start) + Intermediate to advanced excel and data analysis skillset + Experience in EPR and CRM systems (SAP and Salesforce) + Experienced with cross-functional project leadership preferred + Self-motivated, and able to work effectively, in cross-functional groups, and with internal and external customers + Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and take the initiative to resolve issues before they become problems + Ability to follow through with commitments and show concern for the needs of others + Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills + Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment and discretion + Prefers to stay busy with a full workload and enjoys meeting challenges + Ability to handle work-related stress; handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and meet deadlines Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
