Americas Cost Accountant

**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Establishes and maintains standard costs; identifies changes needed to standard costs based on actual results and trends
+ Completes monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities including preparation of manufacturing variances and reconciliation of inventory accounts
+ Performs proactive variance analysis and communicates issues and opportunities to management
+ Reviews and analyzes the P&L impact of absorption (Material, Labor, and Overhead)
+ Compiles productivity and efficiency reports for the operations team and management
+ Analyzes current and past trends in key performance indicators including areas of revenue, cost of sales, volume / price / mix, inventory, and capital expenditures
+ Assists the sales organization in projecting gross margins for new products and projects
+ Analyzes excess and obsolete inventory and ensures appropriate handling
+ Partners with the operations team to conduct physical inventory and/or cycle counting processes, including reconciliation and recording

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ 3+ years of relevant cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Demonstrated experience in computerized accounting systems and knowledge of relevant computer technology
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ University degree in Finance or Accounting required
+ CPA / CPC qualification preferred
