Job DescriptionMS/PJ-SMP-SDS plays an vital role of System Integrator for Advanced Meter Infrastructure in Smart Metering Projects working with public sector units, handling components of Integrated system of Smart Meters, Communication Networks Head End System and Meter Data Management systems that enables two-way communication between utilities and equipment at the consumer premise. Bosch has developed significant understanding of the requirements and potential solution across other functional blocks of GPRS and adds RF Solution as part of its AMI portfolio by using partnered technologies and develop communication software and Data concentrator Units.Responsible for :Overall responsibility to manage cellular and RF mesh communication and its performance for Smart Meter projects. Managing overall telecom operations to ensure maximum availability & minimum disruption in Telecom services provided by TSP (Telecom Service Provider). Telecom Survey and Network Planning for On-going & Upcoming Projects. Conducting Field testing with System Integrator in order to resolve communication issues. Interface with Meter manufacturers to develop right interoperability between Meter – Telecom –HES Coordination and monitoring of Day to day activities with System Integrator for resolution ofCommunication related issues. Inspection of communication modules and antenna as per the specification requirement. Investigation & analysis of NIC module failures, complete root cause analysis (RCA) and suggest the modifications to improve the overall smart meter communication. Evaluate & Introduce new technologies to improve communication performance. Monitor and ensure timely activation of SIMs before Meter Installation. Develop SoP for full compliance to ensure telecom service availability.Communication Technologies :<p style="text-align:start">Narrow-band RF, Power Line Communication (ANSI C12.19), GSM, GPRS.<p style="text-align:start">DebuggingTools: Hands on using Target Debuggers (J-Link),In addition to this, the resource should haveGood Verbal and Written CommunicationQuick learnerTeam Player
