AML KYC Consultant
Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company is seeking an AML KYC Consultant with our client in Raleigh, NC.

We are seeking an experienced AML KYC Consultant to join our compliance team as a first line of defense in our bank. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring robust anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) processes are implemented and maintained effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development: Design and refine AML and KYC policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Execution: Actively engage in the execution of KYC due diligence processes, including customer identification, risk assessment, and enhanced due diligence for high-risk clients. Process Improvement: Identify gaps in existing processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (such as Operations, Risk, and Legal) to ensure a cohesive approach to AML/KYC compliance. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on KYC compliance activities, risks, and improvements. Hand-off Planning: Develop actionable plans for transferring responsibility for ongoing compliance tasks to relevant teams, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities. Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in AML/KYC compliance within the banking or financial services sector. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Proven ability to work both strategically and operationally, executing plans effectively while managing multiple priorities, being flexible and strong ability to roll up sleeves and get things done. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across departments.
