AML Manager
Description

Summary:

As an AML Manager, you will lead, coach, and mentor a team of investigators responsible for researching and analyzing issues related to money laundering and terrorist financing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and own all the elements of the day to day operations.Serve as the subject matter expert on transactional analysis, drafting Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and investigating assisting on banking applications. Stay abreast of compliance trends, money laundering patterns and changes in BSA related regulations.Train new colleagues on procedures, core bank systems, and research on account activity. Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies within your business.Lead a proactive environment .Ensure SLAs are met.Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree5+ years related experience within AML/BSA functions

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal JusticeRelated professional certifications such as CAMS or CFE highly desirableFamiliarity in using AML compliance monitoring systems such as SAS, Actimize Case Management, and other core transaction system (e.g., wire transfer, depository systems, and ACH)Proven track record of strong communications, analytical, organizational, project management and planning skillsAbility to shift priorities as needed to meet demandProven risk management skillsExperience with working in team-oriented environments where success of the overall team is critical to operational excellenceExperience with NICE Actimize suite of productsProven track record of leading successful teams and functionExpanded knowledge of federal regulations (USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council etc.)Ability to demonstrate and apply core knowledge of money laundering patterns, compliance regulations, and financial crime activityAbility to be assertiveComply with organizational polies and proceduresProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to shift priorities as needed to meet demand.Excellent critical thinking, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detailAssist in training and provide coaching with reviews of other investigators. Effectively meet deadlines
