**Job Title: Ammonia/Freon Service Technician** **Pay: $25(1st yr apprentice) - $48/hr(Journeyman)** **Job Description** Local union contractor is seeking a field technician to support its ammonia/freon refrigeration department. 90% of day-to-day work will be in servicing ammonia products and equipment: - Ammonia testing, moisture testing, leak detection - Change compressors, swap valves, offset temperatures - Calibrate equipment, pressure test systems - Routine maintenance, quarter/annual checks, troubleshoot, customer service 10% of day-to-day work will be in new construction, equipment, system, and appliance installation. **Desired Skills** + ammonia + freon + refrigeration + service + construction + pipe + pressure testing + compressors + pumps **Work Environment** 7AM-4PM, Monday-Friday Thursday-Wednesday on-call rotation, every 6-8 weeks Overnight travel, once or twice per year If able, travel in 5-state radius, if schedule doesn't allow, you can stay.
