ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide timely and proper AA&E logistics services – including but not limited to receipt, transport, storage, documentation, records-keeping, inventory accountability, exercise of explosive safety risks mitigation measures, exercise of physical security measures, issue, preparation for disposition (transfer, demilitarization, disposal or and shipping; also, storage facilities material condition monitoring – compliant with governing regulations, policies, and procedures.Governing directives importantly include but are not limited to: Army Regulation (AR) 190-11, Physical Security of Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives; Department of Army Pamphlet (DA PAM) 385-64, Ammunition and Explosives Safety Standards; and Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) 4500.9R, Part II, Cargo Movement.Provide Arms, Ammunition and Explosives (AA&E) Logistics Management Support to RTC Directorates associated with ammo automation systems, inventory, requisitioning, accountability, receipt, storage, issue, safeguarding, and movement of the Class V items of supply. Interfaces with installation entities regarding RTC AA&E issues as needed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.Requires a HS diploma or GED and 0-2 years of experience.Entry level employee performing assignments which are typically repetitive and require little or no subject matter knowledge.Non-repetitive assignments require detailed instructions and oversight.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Proficient user of Microsoft’s Office 365 suite of software and applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft’s SharePoint.Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), preferably Class A with hazardous materials endorsement.Four years’ AA&E logistics experience, civilian or military.Prior military AA&E logistics experience.Forklift operation experience.Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) experience.U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command Ammunition Tracking System (AMCATS) experience.
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain at least a Secret clearance.U.S. Citizenship is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
A&E storage facilities, indoors and outdoors test and evaluation facilities and sites, medium-sized transport trucks, and for brief periods a shared office environment. Routinely, work is near, or is directly handling standard and non-standard ammunition and explosives.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described must be met to perform the essential functions of the job – able to: see, hear, and speak; repeatedly lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds; sit for extended time; and, use a personal computer and common peripheral devices (e.g., keyboard, mouse, displays, printer).
POSITION TYPE:
Full-time position, requiring a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
No travel is expected.
