Partner with the best
The AMO Technician maintains assigned trucks, ships, and related equipment in accordance with operating specifications. Routinely welds, paints and refurbishes equipment. Conducts mechanical inspections. May use moderately complex diagnostic equipment. Maintains records. Handles special projects, as assigned.

As an ARMO Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for:

Complying with HS&E policies and procedures.

Performing mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on Completion and Wellbore Intervention equipment.

Working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices and quality standards.

Assisting in incident investigations, troubleshooting, and diagnosing equipment issues.

Assisting in the enhancement of maintenance processes, documentation, and quality.

Maintaining equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.

Understanding and knowledge of various industrial sectors such as fishing tools, wellbore intervention, liners, and completions (hydraulic mechanical based background).

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a high school technical diploma or equivalent qualification in a mechanical field or relevant experience.Norwegian Overhead Crane CertifiedEnglish and Norwegian language skills.Have relevant industry experience (oilfield, automotive) with excellent mechanical aptitudeBe a current passport holder, it will be required for travel requirementsBe able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analyticalBe proficient in reading and interpreting maintenance documents, drawings, parts lists and following formal procedures.Be able to demonstrate basic computer skills.
