Job Summary
• This role is responsible for overseeing a team of individual contributors and/or managers, setting performance goals, and developing an operational processes strategy aligned with the organization's objectives. The role collaborates with senior executives, oversees complex process improvement projects, and uses data-driven insights for decision-making. The role ensures compliance, promotes a culture of continuous improvement, and stays informed about industry trends and best practices.
Responsibilities
• Sets and monitors performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the operational process management team and takes corrective actions as needed to meet or exceed targets.
• Leads and manages a team of individual contributors and/or managers providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to develop their skills and capabilities.
• Develops and executes an operational strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives to support organization’s long-term vision.
• Collaborates with senior executives and other department heads to align operational processes with the organization's strategic plan and share updates.
• Leads and oversees complex projects related to operational process improvement, from planning and execution to monitoring and reporting.
• Uses data analytics and business intelligence tools to gather insights and makes informed decisions for process optimization and resource allocation.
• Evaluates and recommends technology solutions to enhance process automation, data analytics, and overall operational efficiency.
• Ensures that operational processes adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.
• Fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by promoting innovation and adoption of best practices.
• Stays up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to operational process management.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in sales, operations management, project management, process improvement, or a related field.
