*AMS DevOps Engineer * · Demonstrated experience to resolve incidents, outages, and be part of an on-call rotation. Provide root cause analysis for reported incidents and take ownership of infrastructure components or designs either on your own or as part of a team. · Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services.Responsible for the design and delivery of the mission critical stack, with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. · Analyzing problems in the environment with a mind for restoration of service now and automated prevention in the future. Identifying opportunities to build innovative tools and solve unique operations problems. · Communicating across the organization to maintain awareness, direct restoration efforts and identify situationally appropriate knowledge workers. · Validate that all production release will comply with general set of requirements like diagrams, dependencies of other services, monitoring and logging plans, backup and possible high availability setups. o Integrates vendor solutions into the build and deployment processes. o Integrates test automation frameworks. o Automates software delivery and infrastructure deployments across all environments. o Integrates performance testing and business continuity frameworks. · Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and propose solutions to engineering and infrastructure related problems. Follows direction for constructing reusable build/deployment frameworks. · Documents requirements, specifications, and solutions as needed. Ability to create a runbook. Develops reports and presentations for senior engineering management, as needed. · Works closely with business, development, and operational teams to support business requirements. Participates in sprint/project planning and performs estimates as necessary. o Reviews automation/DevOps efforts of less-experienced team members. o Reviews code written by development teams and participates in developing solutions when necessary. o Provides technical guidance or system process expertise. o Provides technical coaching and mentoring to less-experienced team members. · Collaborating and Working cross-functionally with different engineering teams. Supports a healthy DevOps culture within the organization. · Modern mind on solutioning problems with new tech and automation, Works within an agile/scrum environment · Part of a rotational on call for mainly business hours support and occasional after hours *Experience & education:*// · Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and or Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field.
