The supply chain manager is responsible for Varian Palo Alto site production planning and contributes to broader Plan & Materials function responsibilities.

Top priorities & responsibilities:

1. Manage a team size of 6~7 individual planners to ensure team development and performance requirements are met.

2. Align on demand forecast for different configurations of systems and kits, managing production planning and material planning through MRP to ensure on time deliveries to internal and external customers.

3. Manage potential materials shortage impact. Coordinates with cross-functional teams to resolve potential work center schedule interruptions or customer order delivery impact.

4. Contributes to continuous improvement on supply chain planning related processes. Lead or support projects to improve supply chain resiliency, flexibility, and efficiency. Make decisions by considering end to end supply chain processes.

5. Work flexibly in other supply chain related responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

1. You have a completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, logistics or industrial engineering, etc. ideally with a focus on SCM or a comparable discipline.

2. More than 3 years people management experience in supply chain functions, as well as experience in collaboration with international partners.

1. Professional experiences in SAP production planning and material management functions.

2. Professional data analytic skills.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $151,400 - Max $227,100

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
