The role IT Asset Analyst Scope: Full-time | Location: Quito, Ecuador Technical support, mentorship, assistance, and first-level incident resolution related to IT, including configuration and diagnostics. Tasks include hardware changes, configurations, equipment preparation, and delivery to users. All activities must be recorded in the inventory management system to ensuraccurateer asset and warehouse control. General Responsibilities: Inventory Management Product Knowledge: Understanding the stored products, their characteristics, and storage requirements. Stock Control: Maintaining accurate records of quantities, entry and exit dates, and product locations. Inventory Rotation: Applying practices to avoid obsolescence and ensure accurate stock rotation. Inventory Traceability: Understanding the importance of records, equipment tracking, auditable documentation, and equipment identification. Storage Systems Storage Systems Familiarity: Knowledge of different storage systems such as shelving, pallets, racks, etc. Space Optimization: Organizing and optimizing storage spaces, applying 5S, Lean systems, and best storage practices. Logistics Processes Receiving and Dispatching: Understanding procedures for receiving and shipping products, including handling auditable documentation. Quality Control: Inspecting incoming products to ensure compliance. Physical Inventories: Conducting periodic counts of inventory. Safety and Regulations Warehouse Safety: Implementing standard methodologies to prevent accidents. Compliance with Regulations: Staying informed about laws and regulations related to product storage and transportation (e.g., 5S, Lean Manufacturing). What we need to see from you Minimum Requirements Experience: 1–2 years minimum providing basic IT services for end-user support, either through a help desk or as on-site support. Certifications: ITIL Foundation (mandatory) and desirable certifications in operating systems and desktop tools (current in the market). Basic Knowledge: Proficiency in Office tools, especially Excel and email platforms. Familiarity with Windows and iOS operating systems, as well as basic concepts of networking and internet technologies. Technology and Tools Excel/Office: Ability to use spreadsheets to record and analyze inventory data. Experience with crafting pivot tables, data cleansing and processing, cross-referencing data, identifying errors, and handling large volumes of information. Proficiency with Office tools like Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Inventory Management Software: Experience in using or running inventory control systems. Barcode Systems and Scanners: Understanding how these tools function and integrate with inventory systems. KARDEX: Experience in handling and understanding a Kardex system. Soft Skills Conflict Resolution: Ability to resolve issues effectively and maintain outspoken communication. Teamwork: Strong collaboration and customer service skills. Tolerance to Frustration: Ability to handle challenging situations with patience. Organization: Being diligent and maintaining orderly records. Communication: Understanding the business to efficiently connect with customers. Problem Solving: Ability to handle ambiguity, set priorities, and analyze problems to propose solutions.
