The Central Engineering – Optical PHY (CE-OPHY) team designs high-speed and optical transceivers for communication infrastructure in long-haul, metro, and datacenter applications. Our team tackles bandwidth, capacity, and power challenges faced by cloud computing and mega data centers that power the world’s leading social media platforms and digital services.Our innovative approach has led to first-to-market solutions in many key areas, driving the development of advanced chips and subsystem solutions to meet the growing demand for higher data rates, fueled by video-on-demand, gaming, and real-time data streaming.What You Can Expect
Design high-speed analog circuits for optical transceivers in advanced CMOS nodes.Analyze block specifications and select appropriate circuit topologies.Develop transistor-level analog designs and ensure optimal performance.Supervise layout activities, provide layout guidelines, and conduct post-layout verifications.Model and validate circuit blocks to ensure system-level functionality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing solutions and contribute to future-generation products.What We're Looking For
Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.0–3 years of experience in analog IC design.Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in analog design, preferably in the multi-GHz range; custom analog/layout techniques; and EDA CAD tools for circuit design and simulation/lab equipment for testing and validation.Direct project experience in at least one of the following areas is a plus: Multi-Gbps electrical SerDes or electro-optical transceivers. Advanced CMOS nodes, including FinFET technology.Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Passion for innovation and solving complex engineering challenges.Additional Compensation and Benefit Elements
