Job Description
This client is a dynamic startup with a vision to revolutionize the Aerospace & Defense industry by 3D printing complex parts and components. The company is currently designing and building a state-of-the-art 3D printing machine capable of manufacturing specialized parts with tight tolerances, significantly reducing costs for OEM Aerospace and Defense customers. Future expansion plans include targeting the Automotive and Medical Device industries. The company, which has a team of 10-15 employees, recently acquired a manufacturing space where production is set to commence in June 2025. The current need is for an Analysis Engineer to support the Design team in their 3D printing projects.
ResponsibilitiesPerform all analysis work related to design projects, including Static Structural, Kinematic, Thermal, Modal, and CFD analysis.Assist with design changes based on analytical work, ensuring practical implementation rather than just reporting findings.Essential Skills5+ years of experience with mechanical or Siemens Simcenter 3D.Proficiency in Static Structural, Kinematic, Thermal, Modal, and CFD analysis.Experience iterating designs based on analysis results, not just conducting analysis and writing reports.Additional Skills & QualificationsExtensive experience with CFD and FEA software such as Ansys and Siemens Simcenter.Background in thermal engineering and modal analysis software.Work Environment
The position is onsite in an office environment, with an expectation of being onsite five days per week. The work schedule is typically 8 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility on start time. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to transition to a full-time role after six months and grow their career in a potentially industry-breaking company, gaining valuable experience in the aerospace and medical device industries.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $57.69 - $72.12/hr.
