Job Description
Precision Additive is a startup with a vision of being the first company to 3D print complex Aerospace & Defense parts and components. They are designing and building a 3D printing machine capable of tight tolerance manufacturing of specialized parts and components, which will save OEM Aerospace and Defense customers significant money. In the future, they plan to target the Automotive and Medical Device industries as well. The company currently has 10-15 employees and has recently purchased a manufacturing space where production is expected to start in June 2025. The current need is for an Analysis Engineer to support the Design team for 3D printing projects.
ResponsibilitiesPerform all analysis work tied to design projects, including Static Structural, Kinematic, Thermal, Modal, and CFD analysis.Assist with changes made from analytical work, not just reporting them.Iterate designs based on analysis results.Essential Skills5+ years of experience with mechanical or Siemens Simcenter 3D.Experience with Static Structural, Kinematic, Thermal, Modal, and CFD analysis.Ability to iterate designs based on analysis results.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in CFD, FEA, and computational fluid dynamics software.Experience with Ansys, Simcenter, and Siemens Simcenter.Work Environment
The position is onsite in an office environment. Expected to be onsite 5 days per week with an 8-4 type schedule, offering flexibility on start time. The candidate selected for this position will have the opportunity to go full-time after 6 months and grow their career in a potentially industry-breaking company. This role also offers a foot into the aerospace and medical device industries.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $72.12/hr.
