18,000 trained professionals250+ locations worldwideFortune 500Globally unified systemsJob DescriptionThe Air Cargo Pricing Analyst is an integral part of the Americas Air Team, responsible for preparing and strategically managing the air pricing of Global RFQs in the Americas region, and supporting pricing of Global RFQs from other geographies. The secondary function of this role is to support our Americas Air programs and initiatives through project management and development of communication materials.
Key Responsibilities
ANALYZE AND COORDINATE GLOBAL AIR RFQs
Review RFQ documentation including contract requirementsIdentify opportunities, risks, and challengesPerform data analysis using Excel and Power BICommunicate with sales, account management, air product, and team members at various levelsCollaborate with team stakeholders to develop a pricing strategyManage multiple deadlines at a timeFollow-up on RFQ outcomesRFQ EXECUTION
Convert customer format using excel formulasInsert / integrate pricing based on tools and in line with strategyCommunicate with the field and keep pricing team updated on progressCompile rate responses from branches into pricing templatesAudit responses for accuracy and cohesionMaintain communication per DRP (Documentation Retention Policy)GENERAL PRICING SUPPORT
Continuously update RFQ Pricing Tool database Maintain RFQ tools such as local charges and ATA tariffs as requestedActively engage in and support Pricing side projectsMaintain RFQ workflow and proactively communicate with account management on upcoming bidsAMERICAS AIR PROGRAM SUPPORT
Manage project timelines, track deliverables, update documentation Prepare documents and communication materials to support development of regional air programsReporting Structure
Reports to the Manager, Air Cargo Pricing – The Americas
QualificationsKnowledge
Air Cargo knowledge including pricing, air carrier, air routing, and operations (Preferred)A good understanding of Expeditors’ servicesSkills
