Job Description

The Air Cargo Pricing Analyst is an integral part of the Americas Air Team, responsible for preparing and strategically managing the air pricing of Global RFQs in the Americas region, and supporting pricing of Global RFQs from other geographies. The secondary function of this role is to support our Americas Air programs and initiatives through project management and development of communication materials.

Key Responsibilities

ANALYZE AND COORDINATE GLOBAL AIR RFQs

Review RFQ documentation including contract requirementsIdentify opportunities, risks, and challengesPerform data analysis using Excel and Power BICommunicate with sales, account management, air product, and team members at various levelsCollaborate with team stakeholders to develop a pricing strategyManage multiple deadlines at a timeFollow-up on RFQ outcomes

RFQ EXECUTION

Convert customer format using excel formulasInsert / integrate pricing based on tools and in line with strategyCommunicate with the field and keep pricing team updated on progressCompile rate responses from branches into pricing templatesAudit responses for accuracy and cohesionMaintain communication per DRP (Documentation Retention Policy)

GENERAL PRICING SUPPORT

Continuously update RFQ Pricing Tool database Maintain RFQ tools such as local charges and ATA tariffs as requestedActively engage in and support Pricing side projectsMaintain RFQ workflow and proactively communicate with account management on upcoming bids

AMERICAS AIR PROGRAM SUPPORT

Manage project timelines, track deliverables, update documentation Prepare documents and communication materials to support development of regional air programs

Reports to the Manager, Air Cargo Pricing – The Americas

Qualifications

Knowledge

Air Cargo knowledge including pricing, air carrier, air routing, and operations (Preferred)A good understanding of Expeditors’ services

Skills

Excellent communication skillsClose attention to detail while managing large data sets with accuracy and data integrityStrong analytical skillsProactive & strong organizational skillsEffective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive resultsAbility to relate to global employees at all levelsIntermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (reporting, formatting, data modelling, performing complex calculations)Experience with Microsoft Power BI (a plus)Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projectsFluent in EnglishMedia/communications development skills (not required but good to have)

Education and Experience
