AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

An analyst should troubleshoot customer issues related to AWS Billing and Cost management services and tools that might lead to widespread customer impact or financial risk. The analyst will support three main work streams: KTLO, improving product/customer experience, and automation/process optimization.
For KTLO, the analyst will need to become a subject matter expert in the following AWS products – AWS Insights and Optimization (AIO) (Cost Explorer, Cost and Usage Report, Budgets, Cost Anomaly Detection, etc.) and Billing Procurement Experience (BPE) (Cost Allocation Tags, Cost Categories, Billing Conductor, etc.).
The analyst will need to perform deep dives into customer contact data and work with the product service teams by providing feature proposals (2-pagers) and recommendations for improving product experience. They will also conduct monthly connects with tech teams to highlight customer issues and advocate for product improvements to improve customer experience.

• Partner with cross-functional teams in identifying business needs, develop innovative solutions, and drive strategic initiatives that have a broader impact across the organization.
• Possess strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information and influence stakeholders across AWS.
• Understand end-to-end working of AWS products, systems and processes.
• Ability to propose/implement long-term scalable solutions and in the interim deliver short-term solutions.
• Provide requirements to product and engineering teams based on customer friction points to improve the product/customer experience.
• Ability to work with limited guidance and mentor individual contributors within the larger organization.
• Be a strong communicator with an ability to deliver effective narratives.
