The Analyst plays a team member role on BCN consulting cases, managing allocated analyses and work streams within a project independently with direction from a Project Leader. Analysts take responsibility for completing the given analysis and provide useful input on related dimensions. They generate sound hypotheses and proactively help to focus on the most leveraged issues. Analysts are generalists who work on projects across any geography or industry.


Responsibilities: 

Take responsibility for assigned work streams and generate hypothesesUnderstand client needs and situations and adapt to case expectations. Show ability to resolve discrete issues and/or drive consensusIdentify the key drivers and generate sound hypotheses to solve our clients' critical issuesFind innovative ways to answer critical questions through high quality data research and analysisUse Bain & Company’s proprietary toolkit and fact-based analytical approach to validate your answerInteract with a host of international cultures and make a lasting impact for Bain teams across the EMEA regionExample tasks and responsibilities include market & competitor research, survey analytics, online and social media scraping, assessment of brand engagement, target screening and others.


Requirements:

Graduates from top-tier university, preferably with quantitative background 0-3 years of experience in similar analytical roles in corporate environment, prior experience in consulting company would be an assetProficient English is essential (at least C1), other European language will be an advantage Further developed skillset including working with GenAI, Excel and PowerPoint, but also basic knowledge of other example tools like Tableau or Alteryx Ability to analyze and solve problems methodologically, deriving business insights Excellent communication and listening skills Outstanding organization, prioritization and time management skills Aptitude for practical and innovative problem solving with good attention to detail
