Summary:
The Analyst, Product under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, develops or modifies moderately complex information systems. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing logic as necessary. Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Supports assigned business unit, including requirements gathering and project management for new development and integration projects with little or no direction.
Demonstrates detailed, in-depth and expert knowledge of the assigned business processes.
Interfaces with business units to define business and functional requirements.
Plays a key role in educating the Business and IT community on the applications, evaluates the proposed solutions with the business partner for acceptance.
Defines requirements for testing and assesses the impact of implementing the proposed solution.
Works with the Analysts, QA and Operations to review requirements and provide thought leadership through the development cycle.
Project manages all technical aspects of project applying agile methodology.
Performs assigned user administration functions for the assigned production application.
Thrives in a collaborative environment with several vendors / partners in the ecosystem.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
BS/BA or equivalent.
Business analysis and agile project management skills are required.
Expert in agile project management tool. Example: Jira (preferred), Rally.
A minimum of three (3) years of mortgage technology experience desired.
Extensive knowledge of business process and technology systems and applications is required.
Proficient in translating business requirements into actionable user stories for Engineering teams.
Continuing education and awareness of industry trends and technology solutions for business processes.
Strong stakeholder management skills are required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools with particular skill with Excel, PowerPoint and VISIO.
Proficient in running basic data queries in industry recognized analytics tool (Example: Tableau, PowerBI).
Advanced understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Desired: Agile Certification. Scrum Alliance: CSPO or similar.
Desired: Has worked for products that enable Servicing agent experience. Example: Salesforce (Jit’s area requirement) relationships.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
