From your PASSION to ours
As Category Management Analyst, you will support the Category Management Team in the analysis of category data to provide detailed analysis of key accounts. Additionally, you will be collaborating with other departments such as Marketing and senior management to provide internal analysis of our business. The analysis will include business reviews, new item presentations, program evaluations, and internal data requests. In this role you will need to be able to adapt to changing priorities and remain nimble to manage multiple requests and projects simultaneously. This position will require you to be proficient or quickly become proficient in data platforms such as IRI, Shopper Sights, and Symphony.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Data Analysis:
· Utilize syndicated data platforms (IRI, Symphony/EYC, 84.51, dunnhumby, etc.) to build an array of reports on the specialty cheese category.
· Develop a clear understanding of syndicated data measures.
· Analyze syndicated data reports to assess category performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Report/Presentation Building:
· Assist with customer business reviews that assess category performance and highlight opportunities for growth.
· Transition syndicated data reports into a presentation-ready format to be shared with customers through the effective use of PowerPoint and Excel.
· Prepare monthly reports for internal review with account managers.
· Formalize e-Commerce share reporting.
Category Development:
· Develop a clear understanding of the specialty cheese category and drivers of growth.
· Become familiar with the Lactalis product line and help identify opportunities for growth.

RequirementsFrom your STORY to ours
Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Education
· A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics or related field.
Experience
· Experience in Consumer Package Goods (CPG) or retail preferred
· Experience in an analytical role in sales/buying, inventory management, merchandising or supply chain preferred.
· Retail experience (preferably grocery retail) strongly preferred.
Specialized Knowledge
· Experience with Data platforms such as IRI, Symphony, Dunhumby, or 84.51 a plus.
Skills/Abilities
· Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to build and analyze reports with high attention to detail.
· Flexible and adaptable with a high tolerance for change
· Can prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines – strong multi-tasking skills a must.
· A solid collaborator in a team environment- articulate, poised, diplomatic and professional.
· Proficient in using accepted business tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Salary Description $76,000-$95,000
