Analyst, Channel Analytics
**Job Description Summary** Reporting to the Sr. Mgr, Channel Insights and Analytics, this position supports the Channel Management Group and the insight and analytic requirements across our commercial distribution, kitting/OEM and self-distribution partners. As a member of the Business Insights and Market Data team, this role will contribute to the establishment of a foundational infrastructure and formalized process of advancing channel analytics and insight capabilities within the North American region. This position will provide ongoing analytic support and insights to the Channel Management Group for executing BD’s strategy with commercial distributors, kitting and OEM distributors, and self-distributing IDNs. This role will support US Region policies, processes and governance to ensure the effective implementation of complex, critical analytics and the performance of all our distribution partners. **Job Description** We are **the makers of possible** BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world. Become a **maker of possible** with us. **Essential Responsibilities:** + Contribute to the advancement of our Channel Analytics and Insight capabilities within the Business Insights and Analytics CoE pillar which include but are not limited to establishing the modeling and accrual process, developing enabling templates/systems and defining financial metrics. + Prepare annual financial budget, quarterly financial projections and accruals for contractually obligated distributor portfolio programs and their performance to ensure appropriate reserves are reflected on financial statements + Provide substantial and actionable metrics and insights for the Channel Management Team + Develop and report performance measurements which quantify realized value of the implemented agreements against initial proposal. Partner internally with the Business Analytic Technology and IT teams for further integration and refinement of internal and external data & metrics into new and existing analytic platforms + Directly engage with distributors and customers as required for reconciliation and presentation of metrics and incentives **Qualifications** **Education and Experience:** + BA/BS required in Finance, Accounting or other business related fields and 2 years industry experience (exposure to distributor analytics/medical industry) required + in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, 4+ years’ experience in industry experience accepted + Existing Management and Cross-functional management experience heavily desired **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Understanding of financial analysis with modeling capabilities + Able to analyze large amounts of data and derive key findings and insights + Existing knowledge of Bard/BD businesses and products as well as legacy Bard/BD financial and ERP systems preferred + Proven track record to quickly establish credibility, trust, and support within all levels of organization + Ability to act with speed, agility and accountability to drive desirable outcomes + Ability to partner within Commercial Operations, Channel Management, Supply Chain, and finance to complete meaningful analytics + Ability to work in a new crafted, evolving organization undergoing significant change + Strong solid understanding of Excel, SAP and PowerBI + Travel 5-10% required For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
