What You’ll Be Doing

As a Analyst, Client Segment Strategy you will be supporting the Client Strategy team to design and develop strategies for priority client segments to help CIBC achieve its objectives of becoming a leader in Client Experience.

Work entails research to determine best practices and competitive intelligence, working in a cross-functional team to both develop potential solutions and implement them. Components of the role will also include quantifying opportunities, and creating executive-level analysis, communication, and frameworks to ensure effective decision making. You will also participate in driving and supporting implementation of opportunities within relative businesses and/or with product partners.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How You’ll Succeed

Relationship Building- You will partner with stakeholders from Marketing, Product, Personal & Small Business to ensure the rationale for change is clearly understood. You will identify key client interaction points, will support the creation of differentiated solutions that meet the needs of clients in priority segments and work with Client Segment Lead to drive the change agenda to achieve defined measures of successAnalytical Thinking & Business Acumen- You have a good understanding of CIBC product, channel & distribution capabilities, are able to generate client insights and are skilled at synthesizing them to present actionable insights. You are adept at understanding the strategic & financial implications of various solutions that might be created to meet client needs for priority segments.Communication – You are highly skilled at both written and oral communication. You can effectively articulate issues / recommendations via your analyses and have a proven track record in creating materials meant to be shared at Executive Forums
