Analyst, Connected Experiences
The Analyst, Connected Experiences (Workforce Technology) supports TWDC’s Global Intranet, MyDisneyToday, collaborating with Enterprise Technology and business teams to provide development and operational support. This role involves working on MyDisneyToday projects, supporting project leads, and acting as a day-to-day contact for partners when required. The analyst will assist in defining requirements, writing user stories, and conducting extensive testing of pre-release features.
The role requires strong product knowledge of the MyDisneyToday platform, as well as experience in microsite/page building and technical support. Effective account management, business analysis, and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously are essential. A deep understanding of digital media operations and the ability to adapt to new business needs is crucial for success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create detailed requirements documentation, including written user stories, acceptance criteria, and data flow diagramsAssist with early development reviews, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment testingWork with Quality Assurance to ensure product functionality is properly covered in manual and automated test scriptsSupport customers via email, collaboration/incident reporting tools, and 1:1 troubleshooting sessionsSet up initial microsites for customersOccasionally facilitate training sessions for customersCreate and maintain detailed project, product and customer documentation, such as departmental how-to guides and end-user manualsPerform system configuration, such as adding new users and enabling contentBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree with 5 years of project/program management and business analysis experience; experience working on complex and cross-functional projectsPrevious digital media development experienceStrong knowledge of software development life cycles, web technologies, web development and design processesAbility to communicate effectively with UI/UX designers, developers, and QA staffStrong interpersonal skills and ability to interact directly with customersAbility to identify functional gaps and potential usability issues throughout different phases of product development (including initial story creation and wireframing)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with the Agile development processFamiliarity with web analytics toolsFamiliarity with web content management systemsFamiliarity with information architecture/design#DISNEYTECH
The hiring range for this position in Burbank California is $95,300.00-$110,000.00 per year and for Seattle, WA $100,000-$115,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job Posting Segment:
