Overview of The Role

Under the supervision of the Senior Analyst, Corporate Accounting, the incumbent will be responsible in performing various accounting tasks such as the preparation, processing, and analysis of accounting information.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

Prepare monthly journal entries

Perform monthly bank reconciliations

Conversion of foreign currency balances;

Monthly deck prepared for upper management (variances to comparable period and budget)

Support the accounting team with ad-hoc requests for various corporate functions (HR, communications, Legal, Tax)

Assist the team with audit requests

Prepare year-end deliverables for the consolidation team

Assist in the preparation of the annual budget for the corporate departments

Communicate with our different divisions concerning certain expenses

Prepare templates for quarterly expense analysis

Prepare quarterly statistical reports

Preparation of Annual Statutory financial statements

Any other corporate accounting related tasks

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

University degree in accounting or equivalent training

CPA designation a strong asset

Minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar position

Bilingualism (written and spoken) essential;

High level of accuracy, organization, analysis and autonomy

Ability to manage multiple priorities and to meet tight deadlines.

Ability to interact with other departments and business partners;

Strong organization and communication skills;

Strong skills with the Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint)

Knowledge of Maestro, SAP, and Workiva would be an asset;

Good team spirit

As part of their duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.

Salary Range:

$65,010 – $85,320

*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
