The team you will be a part of The Drafting team prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics or specifications typically using computer-aided design software. Creates, modifies and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers' and technicians' sketches, plans and written and verbal instructions.This role in summary

The CAD Refrigeration Team is responsible for supporting global and regional projects, delivering sustainable Innovations to our Stakeholders through transforming requirements into reality. The team also has a mission to unleash the full potential of product development tools and technologies to create advantage on value creation with best time and cost. Collaborate with engineering and other functions to develop designs for mechanical components, subsystems, systems and complex products using computer-aided design (CAD). Solves complex problems, provides new perspective/existing solutions, assists in policy development.

Your responsibilities will include Create and revise robust solid models and detail drawings of complex components and assemblies from design layouts, marked prints, sketches, and verbal instructions ●Operate within a product lifecycle management (PLM) environment to specify parts and assemblies, create product structure, and receive/complete tasksParticipate in design review activitiesEstablish component tolerances in accordance with manufacturing capabilitiesPerform complex tolerance analysis and validationAssist in establishing basic project design objectives and in the selection of design approachesDevelop and obtain prototype parts for testing and pre-production activitiesEngage with new technologies: desktop 3d printing, virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR)Be able to manage a small team of Designers on a project when needed.Apply design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) concepts in developing designsCritique designs for safety, manufacturability, failure modes, customer usage and function.Minimum requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Design Technology 5+ years of experience using CAD Preferred Skill and Experiences:Experience using Windchill to specify parts, create product structure, and receive/complete tasksAdvanced CAD modeling, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), plastic part design, and DFM/DFA proficiencyAbility to manage time and work effectively while being self-motivated.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsEnglish Proficiency required. Leadership : Lead from Front, Multi Tasking.
