A reasonable estimate of the current range is $71,000 - $118,000 + bonus + benefits.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  At Pactiv Evergreen, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Responsibilities

This Position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.

Job Duties: 

The EDI developer will be part of our EDI team, and will be responsible for creating and enhancing EDI solutions to support business objectives and priorities. The responsibilities will include working with internal and external customers to design, develop and maintain solutions for critical business processes. Will serve as an admin/developer for webMethods (Software AG) with SAP access for EDI support and setup. Employee will be working remotely, with the exception of certain meetings and activities that may be held onsite, providing the following services to Pactiv IT:

 

• Assist with technical development in webMethods (EDI) to support ongoing projects
• Customer onboarding: Setting up new trading partners, develop mappings, monitoring system for issues/errors and enhance our B2B integration platform
• Development and maintenance of complex components of B2B system (webMethods)
• Communicate with trading partners and internal teams to ensure B2B solutions are developed in a timely fashion and match specifications
• Support day-to-day issues around integration touchpoints in both SAP and webMethods
• Monitor and resolve production issues
• Monitor and resolve production service tickets
• Analyze and evaluate business and technical requirements
• Create and maintain functional and/or technical specifications
• Ensure that all work complies with enterprise standards and adheres to development guidelines. Follow documentation, version control, testing, and migration standards.
• Work with development team and business partners to develop and define application scope and objectives
• Assisting with infrastructure support and activities (fixes, updates, upgrades)

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Understanding of service oriented architecture
• Strong collaboration, communication and team engagement skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Is self-motivated, independent and proactive
• Possesses strong analytical and conceptual skills with a solution oriented approach

 

REQUIRED:
• Hands-on experience with the entire software development lifecycle i.e. requirements, design, implementation, integration testing, deployment and post-production support
• Strong understanding of EDI concepts and delivery mechanisms like AS2, VAN, SFTP, HTTPS, SOAP and other protocols
• Experience with ANSI X12, UCS and EDIFACT standards
• Background with webMethods development and administration tools (webMethods designer, My webMethods, webMethods Integration Server, etc.)
• Experience working with the majority of EDI transactions
• Experience with SAP ALE module (Trading Partner maintenance, IDoc configuration, maintenance and monitoring)
• Experience with major SAP business documents like Orders, Invoices, Deliveries, Rebates,
• Proficiency in MS Office tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS
