Horizon and Supsa Plant - Process Transformation Team -> This team is a highly technical and talented staff that develops and implements cutting edge Industry 4.0 & 5.0 solutions within one of the high volume manufacturing facilities in NAR. This team has responsibility in the implementation and solutions for plant savings.
This role in summaryLead the Automation team for both Laundry & Refrigeration processes within Horizon and Supsa Plant, providing savings through the implementation of automation projects, with the spirit of winning & One Whirlpool mindset, to comply with operational KPIs, savings and continuously improving the implementation of WCM Methodology.
Your responsibilities will includeImplementation and scope of automation projects working with both local and external integrators to achieve productivity savings
Implement/Support on robot/process simulations
Creation of Business Cases & RFQs (Request for Quote), and perform associated project management tasks
Support on creation of PLC/Robot standardized templates to facilitate new machine integration
Work with highly technical teams of engineers, including vendors and contractors
Work collaboratively with cross-functional peers to assess priorities and create robust and flexible technology solutions
Verify troubleshooting in automation related issues during startups
Verify all the Electrical/Automation documentation delivered on each project
Ensure that the team has correct and clear information needed to deliver KPIs crucial for business
Support on budget control on each automation project
Support on verification of safety devices for all new systems
Minimum requirements
Engineering Degree
4+ years experience in Automation projects, project management and basic finance
4+ years PLC/Robots programming (AllenBradley, Siemens / ABB, Yaskawa, Fanuc)
Advanced English (written and spoken)
Advanced communication skills
G-Suite basic knowledge (G-mail, Sheets, Documents, Presentations)
Preferred skills and experiences
Technical project execution experience
AGV/AMR projects experience
Robot/Automation simulations
Electrics / Electronics
