About the Role
Responsible for providing portfolio managers with advice and asset allocation strategies to support investment decisions in equity instrumentsRoles and Responsibilities :Cover the sectors such as TMT, Auto and other sectors assigned and adjusted by Team Head. Conduct in-depth fundamental research on industry and target companies that includes but not limited to: i) key macro/regulatory/business factors affecting industry/target companies; ii) company's business model and management evaluation, and key earning power drivers; iii) detailed financial modelling and valuation; iv) major sources of investment risks etc., with the objective of producing quality research output substantiated by sound analysis and investment logic. Regularly update reports, actively and timely comment in morning meetings, and send offsite research transcripts。Generate quarterly in-depth reports with fundamental, industry, competitive, and financial projections.Explore stock investment opportunities and give clear recommendation of stocks to generate excess returns relative to the benchmarkOffer accurate industry allocation advice and precise stock selection to make contribution of model portfolio.Articulate and communicate investment recommendation clearly and comprehensively with firm conviction, thereby effectively supporting portfolio management and facilitating the practical application and conversion of research outcomes.Develop and maintain an effective stock pools of coverage sectors to support portfolio management.Monitor and analyse key developments of covered sectors/target companies; and proactively communicate research findings/recommendations with PMs and Management to support portfolio management.Develop and maintain close contacts with various parties, e.g. sell-side analysts, industry experts etc., to support portfolio management.Participate in and contribute to both local and regional investment discussion meetingsOther Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Equity or CIO.Minimum Job RequirementsBachelor Degree from reputable University with at least 3-5 years of equity investment research experience, buy-side or sell-sideCFA or MBA preferredProficiency in MS Office, Bloomberg, Hundsun, Wind and other investment application softwareStrong analytical skill, self-driven and motivated, responsible, detailed-oriented, and able to work well under pressureEffective communication and presentation skill, both written and verbalGood command of English, both written and verbalGood team playerBuild a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
