**Job Title:** Analyst, ESG
**Your role:**
The ESG Analyst will support efforts to integrate sustainability and regulatory compliance into the company’s physical and digital supply chains. This role involves implementing climate-related strategies within the supply chain, addressing Scope 3 GHG emissions inventories, developing and operationalizing climate transition plans, and supporting disclosures aligned with frameworks such as the EU CSRD, TCFD, and the GHG Protocol. This role combines research, analysis, and project implementation to advance WMG’s ESG program and meet evolving regulatory and sustainability expectations.
**Here you’ll get to:**
**Research and Analysis:**
+ Conduct detailed research to support ESG-related projects, including life cycle assessments, scenario planning, and risk analyses, especially within the physical supply chain.
+ Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities for reducing environmental impact, advance ethical supply chains, and improve compliance.
+ Conduct supplier risk screenings, identify compliance gaps or sustainability risks, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues and ensure alignment with regulatory and sustainability goals.
+ Support the collection and management of supply chain data for compliance with reporting frameworks, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with disclosure requirements, contributing to transparent and effective reporting.
+ Stay updated on regulatory changes, ESG trends, and innovations in sustainable supply chain management.
**Cross Functional Collaboration:**
+ Assist in implementing supply chain projects involving Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions inventories, climate target setting, and scenario analyses.
+ Partner with teams across WMG, including key business units and artist-facing teams, to create and implement roadmaps for supply chain compliance with science-based targets and broader ESG strategies.
+ Design and roll out comprehensive education materials tailored to different business functions, to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of climate action strategies.
**Drive Awareness and Engagement:**
+ Champion climate transition efforts within WMG’s global community, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation in sustainability.
+ Assist artist-facing teams in advocating for sustainable practices by aligning climate goals with creative expression and brand values. Help develop plans to facilitate the adoption of sustainability measures.
**About you:**
+ **Education and Experience:**
+ You have an advanced or bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, engineering, economics, or finance.
+ You have 2-5 years of relevant experience in GHG inventories, climate strategy, ESG frameworks (GHG Protocol, SBT, TCFD, CDP), supply chain management, procurement, vendor engagement, or related fields.
+ **Core Competencies:**
+ You demonstrate experience with carbon accounting and supply chain management.
+ You have excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ You have strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize insights into actionable strategies.
+ You are highly detail-oriented, methodical, and focused on delivering high-quality outputs.
+ You are self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Effective October 1st 2023, this position will require being in the office 4 days a week. We believe that an in-office presence is critical for talent development, collaboration and building strong relationships.
Salary Range
$75,000 to $80,000 Annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
