The Analyst, Feasibility & Investment Analysis – Asia Pacific (APAC) (6 months’ contract) role is a professional learning experience designed to provide meaningful, hands-on work experiences related to Feasibility & Investment Analysis field of hospitality. This opportunity allows you to explore the world of hotel development from the perspective of evaluating potential hotel projects, including assessing the site’s utility for hotel operations, analyzing the surrounding neighborhood and city, understanding demand patterns, identifying a competitive set, and forecasting hotel performance.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

\n

As the Analyst, Feasibility & Investment Analysis – APAC (6 months’ contract), you will be expected to perform the following tasks with the support of senior team members:

\n\nMarket / Proforma Analysis: Focus on evaluating proposed hotel projects, including assessing the site’s utility for hotel operations, analyzing the surrounding neighborhood and city, understanding demand patterns, identifying a competitive set, and forecasting hotel performance. Conduct benchmarking of costs against Hilton properties, competitors, and industry standards\nInvestment Analysis and Valuations: Develop investment analysis and valuations based on the proforma, supporting internal decision-making across teams such as Development, Real Estate & Asset Management, Operations, Finance, and Executive Management. Prepare memos summarizing findings, projections, and valuation methodologies\nUnderwriting Assumptions: Document underwriting assumptions and assist with Development Authority memos and Investment Committee documentation as needed\nResearch: Conduct research on a variety of hotel-related topics, maintaining a comprehensive database of statistics and market insights\nFinancial Models: Utilize and maintain advanced financial, supply-demand, and proforma models to support the analysis\nMeetings: Attend internal development, real estate, and stakeholder meetings as required\nStrategic Projects: Support collaboration with other teams to deliver strategic analysis for key business priorities\n\n

You have these minimum qualifications:

\n\nDegree in hospitality management, business / finance, or real estate. Final-year students may be considered\nCurious mindset with a desire to learn about the feasibility function within a leading global hospitality brand\nProficiency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse audiences\nStrong IT skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with other analytical tools\nSolid Excel modeling skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within teams\nStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent Hilton with professionalism in all interactions, including with external stakeholders as required\nAbility to manage multiple responsibilities under pressure while maintaining a high standard of work\n\n
