What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.

Review, and verify invoices and check requestsReview payments to ensure correct coding, authorization, and has sufficient documentationFlag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or pricesSort, code, and match invoices with PO'sEnter and upload invoices into the system as needed.Investigate discrepancies by coordinating with internal business partners.Prepare payment disbursements and maintain vendors filesReconcile accounts payable transactionsMonitor accounts to ensure payments are up to dateCorrespond with vendors and respond to inquiresProvide supporting documentation for auditsMaintain accurate historical recordsPrepare and process electronic transfers and paymentsPrepare and perform check runsPrepare analysis of accounts and monthly reportsResponsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/ responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.What is expected of you and others at this level
