Analyst, Franchise Finance

Must be located in Plano, TX- Onsite/In-Office 3 days per week.

The Analyst, Franchise Finance is responsible for supporting franchise partners on growth, including assisting in the transfer process. Other responsibilities include managing all aspects of collection efforts and overseeing the monthly franchisee billing process.  Ideal candidate will have debt collection experience and financial modeling background.

Role Responsibilities:

Franchisee Growth (50%) Support and execute various aspects of the franchise Ownership Change process including new franchise qualification, franchisee to franchisee transfers/re-sales, and refranchising/acquisition initiatives. Create comprehensive approval memorandums supported by detailed cash flow models, key financial ratio & trend analysis, as well as an extensive review of current and future capital investment needs. Act as primary contact for both buyer and seller throughout the entire transfer process, from initial document requests to collection of final balances. Collections (30%) Support monitoring, compliance, and collection with all payment obligations required under the Pizza Hut Franchise Agreement (includes royalty, advertising, rent & other miscellaneous payments). Maintain detailed reporting logs and construct comprehensive models used to update the CFO and other key finance leaders on the ongoing trends relating to these obligations. Help drive the forecasting and management of Franchise Direct Expense account including bad debt 9. Prepare, distribute, and track all financial defaults and demands. Partner with IPH on payments, defaults, etc. Collaborate with Control and AR on payment errors and aging corrections. Serve as primary contact with outside collections agency. Ad-hoc Requests (20%) Support the Franchise Finance Manager in preparing detailed reports for Pizza Hut’s Leadership Team on YTD progress against strategic goals. Support Pizza Hut Finance Team as needed on ad-hoc projects and various strategic initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or advanced degree preferred. You will be required to attend the Plano, TX office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

 

Salary Range: $85,000 to $100,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
