Job Description:

We’re looking for a Analyst, Global Recon Prep to join our Investment team at MBPS. In this role, you are responsible in developing and maintaining accurate portfolio information for external clients and internal parties. Responsible for efficient reconciliation source data management and maintenance in the reconciliation system of investment portfolios and provision of investigative support to Global Reconciliation Production. This includes timely and accurate source data check, portfolio mapping and cash balance proof investigation. Establish and maintain cordial relationship with various stakeholders including internal and external parties.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for accurate and timely completion of assigned reconciliations source data preparation including;

Performing completeness check of the source files both internal and external sources

Maintain and ensure accurate portfolio mapping tables within the recon system

Identify and investigate exceptions within established time parameters

Escalate and work closely with clients and custodian banks to ensure timely resolution of exceptions

Work within existing procedures and processes ensuring clear and concise documentation is created and maintained.   

Provide support to the team as required, to participate in a regular program of industry specific training and interdepartmental cross training to ensure continuity of service.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related course, CPA board exam passer is an advantage

Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)

Must have at least 1-2 years accounting related experience.

Intermediate knowledge in excel

Average communication skills

Knowledge in third party data platforms such as DUCO, SimCorp Dimension and Appway

Knowledge in securities instruments/settlements and banking process change strategies

Strong analytical ability, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Client focused with the ability to prioritize responsibilities

Influence and negotiate with team and clients in a sophisticated and demanding business environment
