Analyst, Grid Investment Governance - Fairburn, GA

**Responsibilities**
The GRID Investment Governance Analyst will be responsible for providing governance and controls support for the Georgia Power Grid Investment Program in support of the Grid Investment Governance Supervisor. Overall focus for this position will be to provide analytical support to the GRID Investment Program Governance leadership team to ensure cost and schedule controls drive timely reporting and communication of portfolio risk to support the GIP Director’s ability to make informed decisions to meet KPI’s for this $9B capital program.

**Summary of Position Duties**
+ Provide analytical support to the Governance leadership team by condensing and conveying capital project trend analysis of program cost and schedule variances
+ Maintain models and reporting tools, while also monitoring efficiencies of processes for the capital spend, closures and schedules for the GPC GRID Investment Capital Program
+ Collaborate and coordinate with AFT to communicate and Power Delivery to execute the program financial strategy
+ Support effective portfolio management of key components of capital spending including projections as well as change, risk and contingency management
+ Monitor performance, against KPI’s, within the GPC GRID Investment Capital Program
+ Support multiple stakeholders for the GRID Investment Program around capital spend and impact on GPC’s financial metrics.
+ Establish and maintain effective relationships and communications with internal and external stakeholders
+ Support regulatory reporting
**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field
**Experience**
+ Previous experience in accounting, finance, or business administration – preferred
+ Experience coordinating multiple requests and ensuring goals and objectives are met
+ Ability to provide data validation and interpretation to ensure proper costs are included / excluded from analyses
+ Extensive experience with Excel
+ Experience working with GAPSC with regulatory filings and/or data requests-preferred
+ Understanding of accounting and management reporting – preferred
+ Demonstrated credibility within AFT and/or Power Delivery for sound judgement and reasoning
+ Understanding of all components of capital (i.e. additions, removals)
+ Utility experience preferred
