Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Analyst, Legal General. This role is for our Global Headquarters in Benton Harbor, MI.
This position will assist in providing marketing and advertising law support to Whirlpool’s North American business units.
Your responsibilities will includeCollaborating closely with internal legal stakeholders and business partners to provide pragmatic legal advice during development of new products, services, and promotions. Performing review of marketing assets, promotional offers, product literature, agreements, and other materials to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Developing and deploying business-facing guidelines and self-service tools to empower the business units to work with speed while mitigating key risks.Deliver engaging commercial legal training to business stakeholdersSupporting efficient internal legal operations through development and refinement of standard operating procedures, operational audits, training execution, and data & analytics reportingMinimum requirements
Associate's Degree of higher 1+ years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, communications, legal or procurementPreferred skills and experiences
Experience in a marketing, advertising, and/or promotional role (consumer products or manufacturing).Prior legal experience (corporate law department or law firm).Displays good judgment and uses discretion with sensitive material. Positive, teamwork-oriented attitude and commitment to collaboration.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written); a solutions-oriented problem solver. Strong analytical, organization and management skills. Strong attention to detail. Proficient computer and technology skills, including: Google Suite (GMail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc) and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
