To maintain the plant equipment in healthy conditions to ensure zero breakdowns during production hours.
Your responsibilities will include
provide maintenance and utilities support to production to ensure minimum downtime so the quality, cost and delivery goals are met.
Drive & support in implementing PM (planned maintenance ) activities including plant shutdown and large scale/specialized maintenance activities.
Investigate and resolve technical and operational problems to drive incremental improvements.
New machine installation & commissioning
Gain knowledge on latest machine / technologies and train his team accordingly.
Cost
Ensure safety compliance on equipment thru LOTO & PPE
Upgrade obsolete and old equipment - Identify new technology and accordingly upgrade equipments
Prepares R&M ( repairs & maintenance ) budget and further monitoring & control.
Cost control of power & fuel
Should be able to drive WCM - Energy pillar to get cost saving through conservation & optimization
Upgradation & localization of spare parts to reduce the repairs & maintenance cost.
Interacts with manufacturing engineering to provide support for execution of projects related to large scale improvements
Interacts with production to provide support to ensure stabilization of new product manufacturing
WCM
Manages the performance to team and identifies their training and development needs
Pillar team for energy pillar
Guides and motivates team
Drive energy cost optimization through opex projects , conservation , cost saving projects,etc
Utilities Management
Diesel generator / air compressor / chillers / materials moving equipments
