Analyst, Master Data Management

Working with an emerging shared services organization, the Master Data Management Analyst is responsible for supporting Dover’s vendor and customer set up maintenance processes. Working independently, this role is responsible for creating vendor and customer master data with accuracy and timeliness. Accurate system data will be used by Dover stakeholders globally for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). This position reports to the Master Data Management Lead and Director and is based in Cebu, Philippines. 

Essential Responsibilities 

Analyze, execute and accurately maintain master data for both Vendors and Customers 

Role responsibility involves the creation and modification of customer bill-to accounts into the Oracle and Syteline system. 

Analyze the validity of the master data creation requests by ensuring that no viable duplicates of the requested master data exist 

Ensure the necessity approvals are obtained before executing updates in master data 

Understanding the vendor and customer requirements by validating the information as indicated in the service now request form 

Participate in analyzing and investigating vendor and customer account integration failures/issues from MDM Oracle and Syteline system. 

Ensure that the master data is regularly updated and cleansed within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA), to provide timely, relevant and accurate business information for use by all levels of management 

Participate in master data clean-up, and perform mass updates, if necessary, to existing customer records 

Support adhoc or by-request reports from the business 

Ensure full compliance to the following: External Audits, Internal Audits

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in any Business Related Course 

Minimum 2 years’ Master Data Management experience. Degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field preferred  

Experience with a major ERP system (i.e. Oracle, SAP etc.) managing data in large ERP systems, Oracle preferred. 

Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (Ex: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Charts and Graphs etc.). 

Excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills. 

Team player 

Strong communication skill 

Willing to work on North America time frame

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products 

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists 

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
