Job Description

The MDM & Platform Solutions team within the Advertising Platforms & Operations (AP&O) business division is responsible for supporting NBCUniversal’s day-to-day advertising business by building, enhancing, and scaling NBCU’s internal Product Catalog. We are currently seeking an Analyst, MDM & Platform Operations, to maintain our internal, business facing Product Catalog taxonomy. This person will collaborate across a number of teams including, but not limited to, Planning, Inventory, Ad Operations, Account Services, Finance, Billing, Project Management, Reporting, and Support teams.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Director, MDM & Platform Operations, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Showcase business analysis skills by working directly with various business leads to collect and document all business requirements to translate into product catalog requirementsThink critically and creatively to connect business requests with technical limitations and business rules to deliver innovative solutions to accommodate the shifting needs of the businessManage and maintain the linear and digital Product Catalogs across Global, National, and Local to align with evolving sales strategyDevelop, and stay current, with a proficient knowledge of systems along the pitch-to-pay workflow that are impacted by the Product CatalogLeverage knowledge to identify improvements that could optimize business operations and establish repeatable processesParticipate in projects and initiatives that require additions or changes to the Product CatalogAbility to speak in front of a wide audience and train them on key concepts and changesAbility to generate high level reports and analyze them to determine impact for Product CatalogUnderstand business objectives and partner with cross functional teams, across all levels of the organizationIdentify gaps and/or next steps that are needed to move the ball forward in order to expediate review and sign-off from business unitsManage dependencies across different functional areas, foster team collaboration, and pinpoint upstream/downstream system dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategiesDocument new project requirements, workflows, and expectationsCommunicate application enhancements, updates, and process changes to business users and support teams

Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum three years’ experience in the media ad sales industry or product catalog managementExpert user of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Power Point, ExcelExperience working directly in media as it relates to display, video, mobile, audience, and inventory platformsAttention to detail while reviewing project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project requirementsAbility to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiencesDemonstrate the ability to overcome obstacles and negotiate resolutions to complex problemsAbility to organize meetings by creating comprehensive agendas, managing conversations, and summarizing the results into a set of decisions made and next stepsExtensive multi-tasking capabilities in a highly dynamic environmentAbility to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organization

Proactive, dynamic thinker who can balance work on multiple projects running in parallel with day-to-day maintenanceFacilitation skills and ability to work with multi-functional teams (business and IT)Ability to think both strategically and tacticallyDetail oriented with a sense of accountability and integrity while handling multiple tasks simultaneouslyCritical thinking and problem-solving skills

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $70,000 - $95,000
