Primary Purpose PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Responsible for the day-to-day activities related to the bi-weekly and weekly payrolls and process payroll-related employee issues (e.g., timekeeping inquiries, W4s processing, direct deposit processing, leave accrual). Primary Duties PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Serve as a back-up on Payroll Processing to System Lead (10%) Implement daily process steps during the bi-weekly and weekly payroll processes (50%) Provides oversight, governance and support of timekeeping systems (i.e., PeopleSoft Time and Labor system, VARI, eTime) (30%) Define business and technical requirements and recommending the best technical and functional solution. (10%) Job Scope JOB SCOPE Indirect reports � 2 bargaining unit Works under general supervision Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in any business-related field and a minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. Non-degreed incumbents require 3 to 6 years of related work experience. 2 to 4 years of relevant management experience such as payroll system management, payroll processing, and payroll accounting. Proficient in navigation of the PeopleSoft Payroll/HR/Time and Labor modules and execution of PeopleSoft Queries. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and technical skills Preferred Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS PeopleSoft Experience Benefits Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors:USD $76,000.00/Yr. - USD $114,000.00/Yr.
