Analyst, Private Capital Operations

The responsibility of the Private Capital Operations team is to support FactSet's Private Capital Data Aggregation Service (PCDAS) workflow for our asset owner clients who wish to view and analyze their private investments in FactSet.

Essential Job Functions

Work across multiple groups, including implementation/project teams, sales and account management, data integration specialists, client, and client investment managers to understand client's investments, data sources, and desired workflows in FactSet pertaining to private capitalImplement new clients and new client investments by understanding and analyzing monthly manager statements and other documents, and configuring those documents in internal document acquisition platformOn an ongoing basis, provide support to existing client workflows by reviewing and providing QA on data extracted from documents, making process changes, and answering questions about data extraction methodology.Review all data loaded for accuracy and completenessCollaborate with PCDAS product team and external software vendor to identify areas for workflow improvement

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, and Finance-related courses

Required Skills:

Excellent attention to detail and strong mathematical skillsAbility to understand account records, such as Capital Account Statements, Balance Sheets and Performance ReportsUnderstanding of corporate finance, financial reporting, and investment dataStrong technology skills

Desired Skills

Previous experience with data management and/or accounting systemsKnowledge of private markets/private equity investmentsAccounting certifications
