The Analyst, RGM is responsible for supporting the Mass/Club/Dollar/Discount/Ecomm sales teams with pricing and trade optimization. The individual is passionate about delivering insights, has data and mathematical acumen, and ideally possesses an understanding of CPG business drivers. The team member is a results-oriented individual who can execute a long-term strategy while simultaneously supporting ad-hoc requests. The team member will be responsible delivering data-driven insights to the business, collaborates with and listens carefully to business partners, and can incorporate business knowledge into deriving an optimized proposition. This individual is data curious, financially rigorous, and business savvy. The individual isn’t afraid to ask great questions or put forward novel ideas as they seek to improve business performance. Some of the tasks this team member will be involved in:

 

Primary:

Advance relevant, informative, and user-friendly actionable insights to help inform and support strategic decision making with key business stakeholders across all business unitsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support RGM initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectivesPartnering with the sales teams to bring forward incremental funding requests and presenting them to the business units for approvalCreate reports / dashboards to facilitate visibility into historic and current-state performance

Pull and leverage internal and external data sources including Syndicated POS data

Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in Analytics, Economics, Business, or another related field)A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, finance, or RGM requiredCPG experience preferredIdentify opportunities to streamline, produce, and enhance reports / dashboardsDevelop strong acumen in Danone’s business processes, product portfolio, and become a business success ambassador Experience with data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Experience with Sales data (internal and syndicated) and Trade data preferredDetail oriented and inquisitive individual who enjoys data and working on a teamStrong storytelling and communication skills (written and verbal)An understanding of retailer and manufacturer financials is a plusProficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to travel as needed

The base compensation range for this position is $65,000- $75,000commensurate with experience.
