Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Analyst, System and Technical Publications Integrator. This role serves all refrigeration products sold in the North America Market and onsite at our Benton Harbor location.
Relocation is available for eligible candidates.
Your responsibilities will includeManage system & literature integration projects & portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact for system integrators and project leaders.Analyze, Plan, Prioritize, monitor & report to deliver requests “on time” & “at Quality” while gathering necessary inputs from system integrators, marketing, codes engineers, legal, subsystem engineers, service teams, and other stakeholders.Create detailed markups and submit change requests for prioritized literature projects for execution. Create FMEA (Failure Modes, and Effect Analysis) & Create DVP&R (Design Validation Plan & Report)Develop and oversee material specifications for printed literature parts and labels.Create and maintain the engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) structure and project plans & trackers for projects while assigning new part numbers and maximizing reuse.Monitor and support the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and Quality improvement initiatives.Help resolve query trackers managed by the literature execution team.Work closely with cross category for standard initiatives and for overall priority of projects.Participate in regular meetings with literature coordinators and the Center of Practice (CoP) leader to optimize and continuously improve processes and practices.Ensure compliance with the Whirlpool Product Development process with requesters and project teams.Minimum requirements
Bachelor Degree of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or Thermodynamics 3+ years of experience in project & portfolio management working with cross functional teams1+ years of experience in Windchill and Structured authoring Preferred skills and experiences
Masters Degree of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or ThermodynamicsPMP CertificationProject Management and system integration experience and skillsProven experience in product documentation/publication across various fields such as Home Appliance, Service, Aerospace, Automotive, etc.Simplified Technical English (Master)Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) knowledge.SAP / ERP systems experience.MS Office, Google Suite, Excel/Google Sheets Formulas, Charts, Macro/Scripts and Project and/or SmartSheets.Budget management, financial planning and analysis.Critical thinking and diagnostic capability in a fast-paced environment.Proactively take ownership of issues and drive solutions.Organization, analytical, communication, and leadership skills. People skills to work in cross-functional teams with a can-do attitude and ability to integrate.Good communication, Stakeholder and risk management skills.
