Your role at Baxter

Reporting to the Global Travel & Expense (T&E) Operations Supervisor, the purpose of the role is to support the processing of travel and expense reports while identifying areas of fraud or non-compliance to policy.

What you'll be doing

Process travel and expense reports in a timely manner (Service Level Agreements) while reviewing for possible fraudulent expenses or expenses that are not aligned to the Baxter Global Travel and Reimbursement Policy.

Prepare and review retrospective reporting of T&E costs identifying areas for further review, including general poor employee behavior through retrospective reporting.

Optimally handle interactions between employees, managers and a broader governance team on the results of the T&E audits.

Proactively handle corporate card reconciliations and oversight on delinquent accounts, communicate to the business on areas of concern noted in expense report management.

Develop a deep understanding of the T&E tools and policies while supporting the Governance Team and provided feedback to improve the functionality of the T&E system.

Develops positive relationships with the business to increase the interdependent relationships across the various functions impacted by T&E.

Collaborates with other T&E teams to ensure partner concerns and outstanding issues are addressed and handled effectively.

Provide feedback to RPO on suggested changes to current processes and policies in order to gain efficiencies and overall compliance with all programs.

Participate in the implementation of ongoing process improvement projects related to T&E.

Develops a deep understanding of Corporate Card tools (Amex@Work, BoA GRAM) and Travel and Expense tools (i.e. Concur, SmartTool) and all Policies that impact on Corporate Card programs while working with the business and SDP.

Service now tickets Corporate Card and Pcard (activation,cancellation, increase or decrease limits), policy queries, support employee with card issues.

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience

Minimum of two years of relevant travel and expenses experience

Bilingual (Spanish and English), as a requirement B2+

Highly motivated individual looking to continuously deliver and exceed

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Confirmed proven understanding of information systems such as Concur, Appzen, JD Edwards

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Confirmed solid understanding of the travel industry

Previous experience working in a Shared Service Center environment
